GOOD SHOWING AT CARAWAY
July 31, 2010 – CHARLOTTE, NC - Michael Gaier Motorsports brought the EyeEarn.com Dan Snyder Racing/Herd Racing #75 legend car to Charlotte Motor Speedway Monday night for its Summer Shootout debut. Monday night was an open test session for Tuesday nights race, the 8th race of the 10 week shootout series. After a successful night of testing Monday, the team and Michael felt they had a solid car going into Tuesday night’s race. The teams night was cut short on Tuesday after the decision was made to cancel racing activities, due to large amounts of rain.
The EyeEarn.com team went back to the shop and made the decision to race Friday at Caraway Speedway in Asheboro, NC. The team was confident about the car from the moment they took it off the hauler. With the help and support of Dan Snyder Racing, Michael was able to have a top-3 car all day in practice. Michael rolled the #75 off in the 3rd position for his heat, after some fierce racing in the early laps, he managed a 3rd place finish.
With the heat race out of the way, the line-ups had been set for the feature, the #75 EyeEarn.com car would roll off the grid in the 5th position. “We’ve had a great car all day long, the guys hit it on the nose at the shop and I feel confident that we can grab a top-5 here tonight,” said Michael prior to the feature event.
After a hard-fought race and battling for a top-5 all evening, Michael was able to bring home a 3rd place finish, in his first career start in a Legends car. “I’m just grateful for the opportunity that EyeEarn.com and TripleClicks has given me. The team gave me an awesome car all day long; fast in practice, a 3rd in our heat and a 3rd here in the main, I cant ask for anything else. I really want to thank Dan Snyder Racing, Herd Racing, EyeEarn.com, and Motorsports Retro for sticking behind me, and I can’t wait to hit the track again!” exclaimed a very happy Michael Gaier, concluding Friday night’s race.
July 11, 2010 - CHARLOTTE, NC - Michael Gaier Motorsports has announced its #75 EyeEarn.com entry into the U.S. Legend Car Series race at Charlotte Motor Speedway on July 27th, 2010. Preparations on the Legend car will begin this week and we'll be testing the car at CMS on Monday, July 26th. For more details about the Series, pleaseclick here to visit the official website.
June 26, 2010 - ROUGEMONT, NC - Overall it was a decent weekend for the EyeEarn.com Ford. We had plenty of practice sessions, then qualified 12th-fastest in the 31-car field. The 150-lap race started out fairly well, however we lost the rear-end gear in the car around lap 85. To avoid a major failure and further damage to the equipment, we pulled the car in and finished 23rd. We handed out 100's of Hero Cards and stickers and made a nice showing for EyeEarn.com. Stay tuned to our website in the following days and weeks for updates. We'll see you at our next race!

EARLY INCIDENT CUTS DEBUT SHORT
June 5, 2010 - CHARLOTTE, NC - Michael Gaier's debut with the EyeEarn.com Herd Racing entry received an unfriendly welcome when his #75 Ford Fusion was taken out of contention in turn 4 of ACE Speedway on only lap #5 of the 150-lap race on Friday night.
The entire week became somewhat of a challenge when both Wednesday and Thursday's attempts at testing the car were rained out. With only a handful of practice laps Friday night in a brand-new car (never practiced or raced prior), however, Michael was able to qualify the car on time into the 13th starting position out of the 22 cars entered.
The car directly behind Michael jumped to the outside lane on lap #1 and stayed there through the next 4 laps. On every entry into each corner, that outside car came down to "pinch" Michael and made contact with our #75 machine several times. The final time on lap #5 would prove to be our undoing as finally the outside car made enough contact to send Michael into a spin, and the cars behind crashed into the back end of the EyeEarn.com Ford.
The contact damaged the rear quarter, and caused terminal damage of the traction bar mount (which is used to stabilize the rear-end of the race car).
These parts will be repaired back to new and the car will be ready for the next race on June 26th.
On another note, we handed our several of our hero cards and hats and the car was a big hit with everyone we spoke to. EVERYONE wanted to know what "EyeEarn.com" was about! We simply told them that it was a major advertising network of individuals providing exposure for the parent company's e-commerce site called TripleClicks. Everyone thought it was an amazing idea and we'll definitely be seeing some new traffic to SFI, EyeEarn, and TripleClicks over the coming months as we continue to compete at various events.Lastly, we had a television crew from Weekend Warriors (an online, viral racing television show that is gaining popularity among race fans) there at the event only to cover Michael's debut in the EyeEarn.com race car. They took a large amount of video and interviews with Michael, all of which will be aired on their program coming up this week. More details to come on this shortly. The program will include several plugs for EyeEarn.com and will be heard by 1000's of people around the world.
HERD RACING WELCOMES MICHAEL GAIER TO TEAM
May 14, 2010, HUNTINGTON, WV - Michael Gaier, a Michigan native and veteran of the CRA Late Model Series, will field a #75 Ford Fusion late model in his June 4 debut. Herd Racing will work in conjunction with Michael Gaier Motorsports to compete in select races in the PASS late model series.
Herd Racing's Majority Owner Dana Tomes had this to say:
"First off, I would like to welcome Michael Gaier to our team of drivers. If you haven't visited the front page of the website then you aren't aware that Michael will be fielding a #75 Ford Fusion in the PASS Late Model Series in North Carolina beginning on June 4. He will be sponsored by EyeEarn.com, an affiliate of new Herd Racing supporter TripleClicks.com.
We will be getting more into the TripleClicks.com deal in the coming days, but if it shakes out the way things are looking right now then it could be a very expansive sponsorship that will extend to Herd Racing entries in at least five different racing series and possibly more. TripleClicks.com is the internet classified advertising company I have been mentioning for a while. We had thought it wouldn't materialize until fall, but while it won't start all at once, it is progressing faster than we originally anticipated it would."
